Group Bio: Established in 1968, the Northwest Chamber Chorus under the direction of Mark Kloepper, has long been recognized as one of the finest choruses in the Pacific Northwest. The 40-voice ensemble of men and women is critically acclaimed for its compelling performances of the best classical choral music. The NWCC attracts large audiences and wins extensive praise and support from the Seattle arts community including the Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs and 4Culture.  During an annual concert season of six main-stage performances and numerous community outreach appearances, the chorus attracts a loyal audience of music patrons, characterized by a keen interest in cultural activities and classical choral music.  Auditions for membership in the Northwest Chamber Chorus are held by appointment in August each year.

The group is featured regularly on KING FM’s Northwest Focus and KUOW's The Beat. The Chamber Chorus offers five CDs including the A Ceremony of Carols, 40th Anniversary Live!, Songs of the Americas, Handel Coronation Anthems, and Wassail! CDs. The Northwest Chamber Chorus has performed with the Seattle Symphony, the Northwest Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Youth Symphony, Cascadia Brass, the Spectrum Dance Company, ACT Theatre, Philharmonia Northwest, Baroque Northwest, and the renowned Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra as part of their annual Ellington Sacred Concert.
